You will remain conscious and alert when under nitrous oxide sedation, yet you will also feel deeply relaxed and free of fear. Nitrous oxide wears off after just a few minutes of breathing normal oxygen in the air and is perfectly safe.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

 What Does Oral Conscious Sedation Feel Like?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Oral conscious sedation is a medication that is taken before your treatment begins. This oral medication may make you feel mildly or moderately sedation, but you will still be conscious. It will just help you to feel very deeply relaxed, so you don\u2019t have anything to worry about. You will be aware of your surrounding and able to communicate with your dental team while under sedation.
